It's True!
Yes, I've decided to leave CICT, as reported in the Inquirer and the Manila Bulletin. No, I haven't yet decided what to do next (the blog is open for suggestions).
Whatever I decide to do, I will bring with me a newfound respect for the honest public servants in the Philippine government, who toil tirelessly for the good of the country, with limited resources and little or no recognition for their efforts. May your tribe increase!

Goodluck Dondi! It was a pleasure working with you.. Thanks for helping to bring a more positive image to government service!
Having been able to work with a number of government agencies, it is true that majority of government employees are good and decent people. If only we can empower them more by giving them up-tooling seminars (maybe IT-related and maybe not) that allow them to improve themselves.
So more power to them and more power to you!
I am in shock!
Of Mike's picture. :-D

Hi Dondi. I suggest that you form an IT policy development think-tank group. Your experience in serving government is more than valuable and you are in the best position to take a lead on it.
Hi Sir Dondi,
I was shocked. You're one of the few good public servants I know. You shared to us here in region 8 your passion for IT and you inspired the IT groups and each IT individuals to contribute and share the same vision for our region.
Thanks to you and more power to you. Whatever plan/road you will undertake. Best regards
kampai
Hope the next guy's a classic gamer like you. The CICT could use something like the Korean Game Development and Promotion Institute.
Welcome to dell philippines
Hi Dondi, My name is Bob Silos. If I could ask you to take a couple of minutes of your time and visit the Silos Family website at http://www.silosfamily.com, you will see my great grandfather Leonardo Silos married a Gorgonia Mapa. According to word-of-mouth, Gorgonia was a sister of the famous Chief Justice Mapa. Would you by coincidence be a descendant of this family? Or, do you know anyone who is? Any information you have will be much appreciated. Regards, Bob Silos
